My name is Helga, I am 28 years old, and I am a passionate dog caregiver and trainer with over 4 years of professional experience. I am currently pursuing my dog trainer certification, and my goal is to create a space where dogs thrive and grow.
I am not just a dog caregiver; I am a dog enthusiast from Iceland and the Faroe Islands who grew up with Bearded Collies, Miniature Schnauzers, and now has my beloved 13-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Hugo.
My commitment extends from loving small breeds like Dachshunds to majestic large ones like Great Danes.
With a teenage history of regular walks for neighbors' dogs and a lifelong interest in animal behavior, I have dedicated myself to understanding and assisting our furry friends.
At Paws Paradise, my philosophy is simple: happy dogs are trained dogs. I use reward-based training and empowerment because I believe it is the key to a happy and confident dog life.
My heart beats for these sweet paws, and I put everything I have into creating a safe and joyful environment for the dogs in my daycare.
