Helga - Owner of Paws Paradise
My name is Helga Elínar Lützen, and I have been working professionally with dogs since 2019.
I am an educated dog trainer from KøbenhavnerSnuden’s dogtrainer education, where I gained a strong professional foundation in canine behaviour, body language, learning theory, and communication.
Combined with my hands-on experience, this allows me to understand each dog’s individual signals and adapt my approach to their unique needs and personality.
My goal is to create a daily environment where dogs feel safe, thrive, develop, and build positive social relationships.
Over the years, I have shared my life with several different dog breeds, giving me a broad understanding of the many personalities, temperaments, and needs dogs can have.
My passion for dogs began in my teenage years, when I spent much of my free time walking my neighbours’ dogs — a passion that eventually became my profession.
My dedication to dogs is at the heart of everything I do at Paws Paradise.
Through my work with Dyreværnet and my volunteer work at a dog shelter in Greece, I have gained a deeper understanding of the many different backgrounds, life experiences, and challenges dogs can carry with them.
At Paws Paradise, every dog is welcomed as the individual they are. Through small, harmonious groups, plenty of time and space, and everyday-adventures in forests and open fields, I create an environment where dogs can explore, develop their social skills, and grow in confidence.
I treat every dog as if they were my own and put my whole heart into creating a daily experience filled with care, connection, and joy.
I look forward to welcoming you and your dog to Paws Paradise!

Sigurd - dogwalker at Paws Paradise
My name is Sigurd, and I live on Nørrebro with my girlfriend, our newborn baby, and her older brother Vladimir, a two-year-old Cane Corso and Bullmastiff mix, whom I adopted from Fyns Internat when he was just 14 weeks old.
Vladimir is my loyal companion throughout KøbenhavnerSnuden’s dogtrainer education, where we are currently preparing for the final exams.
I have had dogs in my life for almost 20 years, and I cannot imagine a life without them! Over the years, I have worked in several different fields, including as a bartender, florist, and hairdresser.
I can finally say that I have found my true path as a dog walker, dog trainer, and someone who works with animals in whatever ways the future may bring.
As part of my education at KøbenhavnerSnuden, I completed an internship that gave me an even deeper insight into what it means to work professionally as a dog trainer.
I followed the experienced trainers closely and worked as an assistant trainer on the different courses KøbenhavnerSnuden offers, including dog-to-dog socialisation, puppy classes, beginner and intermediate training, trick training, and rally obedience.
The experience was incredibly valuable.
You can read countless books about dogs, but actually meeting and working with dogs of different breeds, temperaments, and personalities gives you a completely different understanding. Every dog teaches you something new.
When I work with dogs, my focus is always on reinforcing desired behaviours and not giving attention to unwanted behaviours. This allows dogs to experience everyday activities, from walks and training to play, as safe, positive, and enjoyable experiences.
I always adapt my approach to each individual dog’s personality and temperament. Some dogs benefit from calm and relaxed activities, while others thrive with more stimulation, play, and challenges.
My goal is to strengthen each dog’s confidence, happiness, and overall wellbeing, both physically and mentally, so they can have positive experiences in every situation.
